Rythmos™ Community Wearable

Helping Communities Keep Residents Safe

Rythmos™ Community Wearable

The forward-thinking minds at Intrex partnered with Brash to develop the Pendant V1 Lite Community Wearable— a revolutionary health and safety monitoring device designed for care facilities. Our team developed the pendant with geo-tracking capabilities to pinpoint a user’s precise location to ensure continuous location monitoring supported by a mesh network. If a user requires attention, they simply trigger the alert beacon by pressing the top surface of the pendant. The device also has fall-detection sensors, and automatically signals an emergency response should a user find themselves in distress. The pendant relays the location of the user, along with specific health information about the resident registered to the wearable to enable swift and coordinated assistance.

Key functionality in the design of the pendant and supporting system includes keyless entry capabilities that integrate with Bluetooth and NFC devices with the ability to seamlessly alter entry access and restrictions. This allows caregivers to easily adjust access to limit wandering, manage any quarantines and ensure resident safety. The pendant also has the capability to ‘sign-in’ to a number of different devices such as weight scales, blood pressure monitors and glucose meters for daily tracking of residents’ health. The user simply taps their pendant on the receiver connected to each health device and data is then sent to the system when ready.

Robust and Reliable

The overall design of the Community Wearable keeps its users safe and secure and provides caregivers an easy-to-use system to monitor residents with the ability to wear the device as a pendant around the neck, snugly fit into a custom bracelet, and an added option of a tamperproof wristband created specifically for memory care residents. The water-resistant device runs on a coin cell battery, powering the device for over 3 months of nonstop use with the ability to simply replace using a custom designed tool.
