Rythmos™ Swap Device
We work alongside our long-term client, Intrex, to enable individuals to age safely through innovative solutions. Within the suite of resident monitoring devices and accessories we created with Intrex, we additionally developed a swap device that increases the usability and convenience of wearable monitoring devices. The swap device allows care attendants to exchange wearables running low on battery charge with fresh ones at the bedside with the click of a button versus swapping them out at a central location like a nursing station.

Quick and Easy Swapping
The slim and sleek design coordinates with existing Intrex products and fits easily into pockets for mobile use. Our team developed the swap device with a focus on ease-of-use, incorporating thoughtful features like an internal rechargeable battery, a user interface that can be read at any orientation, and using symbols to direct the user. These symbols, combined with animated LED indicators for visual feedback, clearly identify where to place the low battery wearable device and its replacement to clear and move data from one to the other. This swap device removes the need to rely on residents to charge individual devices every night and allows seamless and continuous monitoring with a click of a button.
