Software + UI/UX

Aerial Vehicle Safety Solutions Inc. is a leader in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) safety. They develop solutions to enable reliable safety, advanced management, and unique insights into UAV operations. They provide integrated hardware and software for UAV operators and manufacturers, as well as parachute systems. These parachute safety systems are becoming mandatory for all UAV operations, and AVSS tasked Brash with developing a system that could be implemented by their existing vehicles.

Vital Sensors and Satellite Communication

Brash worked within UAV industry standards to create a system that integrated PCB, firmware, and electronics designs with a connected recovery system. These systems are equipped with internal sensors to collect vital information to analyze and track flights in real-time, and deploy the parachute if necessary, minimizing impact to potential bystanders.

Brash also built in modules that would enable satellite communication, location, altitude, speed, and a warning buzzer to go off in the event of a crash. These improvements were designed to work with existing products, and prototypes are currently undergoing testing.
